Our DNA contains the instructions needed for the development, functioning, growth, and reproduction of living things. The church is made up “living stones” and these DNA values reflect how we as a church order our worship and lives, whether together or apart, which happens by being centered on JESUS.
Jesus-Centered Worship
Worshipping together is vitally important to the spiritual development of our children and families. Children need to see their fathers singing, praying and responding to God’s Word, so we do not offer an alternative. Families worship together.
Our service is directed and guided by the Scriptures, which teach us of Jesus Christ from Genesis to Revelation. Our worship service is liturgically rich as we are led through five movements in service, culminated by feasting on God’s word (preaching) and feasting at God’s table (communion), every week.
- God Calls Us
- God Cleanses Us
- God Consecrates Us
- God Communes with Us
- God Commissions Us
The whole congregation is encouraged to participate in our gathered worship, as we emphasize participation over performance. We endeavor and delight in singing Psalms, Hymns, and Spiritual Songs that are Bible based and theologically accurate.
Expositional Preaching
We believe the best way to preach the whole counsel of God is verse by verse, book by book, expositional preaching. Where the main point of the sermon is the main point of the text.
As a Reformed Baptist church, we appreciate the London Baptist Confession of 1689.
Sacrificial Service
Every member is an integral part of the body, and therefore we seek to use our spiritual gifts to serve one another in our church, our homes, and our community.
Unceasing Prayer
Prayer is not just a filler in our services, nor in our lives. Prayer is a primary way we commune with the Triune God, and ought to mark our lives as believers when we are together, or apart.
Spiritually Healthy Homes
Modeling Christ Jesus is a parent’s joy and responsibility. We seek to equip husbands to lead their homes where Jesus is central.
