Pastor Brian Algie
Pastor Brian has been married to his best friend Katie since 2010 and they have three daughters and three sons, one who worships at the throne of Jesus! Pastor Brian enjoys spending time with his family outdoors, reading, road trips, all forms of golf (regular, disc, miniature, and foot), and playing on a homemade ninja course.
He has a passion for expository preaching (verse by verse) and for encouraging and challenging others in their walk with our Lord. He has served with us at CBC since 2014, and desires to see Lake City become the first city in Michigan to acknowledge Jesus Christ as King!
Bruce Dunford
Bruce came on as CBC’s first lay elder in August 2024. He and his wife Debbie moved to Michigan back in 2023, and were calling CBC home by the fall. Bruce had a long pastorate in West Bend, WI where he served as lead pastor for twenty-two years. Bruce is a gifted teacher, administrator, and enjoys his share of building projects. We are grateful to God for bringing both Bruce and Debbie to the CBC family!
