Why an Afternoon Service?
We have a body of believers who want to spend time together. To provide more opportunities for connecting we have lunch that follows Morning Worship on the first and third Sunday of each month, so plan to stick around for a meal as we’d love to get to know you better. We also have many in the body who travel a bit longer distance to gather, so this maximizes our time together while minimizing the trips necessary to do it. We are also excited to offer services for the whole family at the same time.
What to Expect?
- Children 0-4 years old will listen to a Bible story, sing a few songs together, and enjoy some play time with other littles.
- Children in K-5th Grade will spend time singing and hearing a Bible lesson in the Gospel of Luke!
- Teens in 6-12th Grade are studying the fruit of the Spirit (see Galatians 5) in the life of Jesus.
- Adults will stay where we eat, to discuss the sermon that was preached that morning. This time allows for more dialogue between the leader and the adults, as we consider further how to apply God’s truth to our everyday life.
